“Tham Ma Slope – Nine-turn Slope” – where horses hesitate but people want to conquer, is a saying that shows the passion for discovery of travel enthusiasts for Ha Giang. So let’s learn about these two places with Halo through the article below.
Tham Ma Slope
Those who love Ha Giang or at least are passionate about traveling almost all know this slope, it is so famous because tourists coming to the North Pole almost all stop and take pictures here.
*Meaning of the name: Tham Ma Slope is literally understood as a slope used to assess horse strength. Legend has it that in the past, at this very slope, people let horses carry goods from the bottom of the slope up. Any horse that reached the top of the slope and was still strong was a good horse and would be kept by the people. Any horse that was weak and out of breath after reaching the end of the slope would have a pan of thang co waiting for them at the highland markets.
The scenery here is truly beautiful and majestic; No need to use a Drone, any tourist standing here can see the winding, zigzagging road. Looking from above, this road looks like a snake, very cool. There are so many cute children gathered here; before, the girl in the picture has also made backpackers’ hearts flutter many times because of her extremely sweet beauty. Almost every child carries a basket of flowers on their back so that tourists can take pictures with them or borrow their basket of flowers to take pictures; the special thing here is that the children are very innocent and friendly, do not ask for money from tourists, they accept whatever is given. Occasionally, there will be young boys sitting and playing the flute, standing in the middle of a beautiful scene with the sound of the flute is wonderful. Before reaching the slope, there is also a quite beautiful section, this section has a very pretty colored median strip, the view behind is lush green; a person who loves green like me cannot ignore it.
xXx Note: Be careful when stopping here to take pictures because there are many cars passing by. If anyone intends to stop and take pictures here, remember to observe before and after. Although beautiful, it is a bit dangerous!
Nine-turn slope
Located in Pho Cao and Sung La communes, Nine-turn slope – Ha Giang has a series of consecutive bends with a fairly steep slope, just like its name. In addition, the slope is also part of National Highway 4C – the main traffic route of the land at the head of the country with difficult roads due to rugged mountainous terrain.
For those who are just starting their journey to explore Ha Giang for the first time, it will be difficult for them to distinguish Doc Bac Sum from Doc Chin Khoanh. In fact, Doc Chin Khoanh is a section of Doc Bac Sum. This is also the road connecting Pho Cao commune to Sung La commune. At the same time, Doc Chin Khoanh is also considered an important part that creates the unique and impressive highlight of Bac Sum slope.
Hopefully, the above sharing will help you have a smooth journey to explore Ha Giang, enjoy the majestic and immense natural scenery here
